I Need Nothing: a nearly useless odyssey
This is an amazing concept based on the fact that, through the covers of vinyls and CDs, we are able to listen to music with our eyes. I’ve definitely caught myself in similar situations when buying CDs or records. Every album cover was designed and printed for the project and shot in one take. Hard work really pays off.

I did some freelance work for Droga5 once and I have to say everything said in this film is one hundred percent true. This story is so touching and makes you realise this world ain’t such a bad place after all. Cue fuzzy feeling.
The morbid short films of Douglas Burgdorff
A director from Los Angeles, Douglas Burgdorff’s work can be described as raw, morbid and shocking. You should be looking away and squirming like the first time you watched one of the ‘saw films’. The majority of it is not safe for work but this guy’s work is almost worth losing your job over.
I Believe I Can Fly (flight of the Frenchies)
It’s hard to come up with anything to say about this film. You sit there after viewing knowing that any time in your life that your heart rate shot up and adrenaline started pumping round your body was just a walk in the park for these guys.

Austin-based Future Clouds and Radar, the eclectic art-pop ensemble headed by Robert Harrison, has recently released its sophomore recording, Peoria. Where their self-titled debut album showed Harrison as the central figure in a large musical cast, Future Clouds and Radar’s latest offering finds the core band focusing their kaleidoscopic vision into a single cinematic narrative about the illusory nature of mortality. Throughout, Harrison stays true to his genre-hopping eclecticism, leading the journey through a maze of fuzz-box vocals and ethereal keys.
