RE:GENERATION DJ Premier and Classical Music
by Hip hop legend, DJ Premier went back to school recently: music school that is. Premier is one of the featured present day DJs/Producers in the upcoming RE:GENERATION music documentary directed by Amir Bar Lev (The Pat Tillman Story, My Child Can Paint That) and commissioned by Hyundai Veloster.
Along with Skrillex, Mark Ronson, Pretty Lights and The Crystal Method, Premier is looking for inspiration outside of his own musical world. Premier turns to classical music and had the chance to work with the Berklee School of Music Symphony orchestra. Check out Premier’s YouTube clip with highlights of his time back at school.

Juggernaut: a 44 second 3D animation by Jonathan Monaghan
Artist Jonathan Monaghan has just released a new video, Juggernaut, a 44 second 3D animation about an unfortunate meeting between a lamb and businessman. Monaghan notes the colloquial English use of the word ‘juggernaut’ as a metaphorical force regarded as mercilessly destructive and unstoppable. The clip is part of a larger series of hallucinatory, video game-inspired vignettes to come.
