Kareena Zerefos
Kareen Zerefos is an impressive illustrator. I like her style, I like her subjects, I like the way she uses traditional skills associated with modern techniques. But more than all this, I like her because she is a daydreamer.

Django Reinhardt: J’attendrai Swing (1939)
I’m really diigging this cover of the everlasting song, J’attendrai, made by Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France. This is an old clip that promoted his wonderful music.

Ok, if I said elephant dung, who would have the guts to think about something beautiful and pleasant to touch? From now on you may consider animal droppings as an ecological source. When the design world is more interested in minimizing the enviromental impacts of products, the making of paper with animal droppings sounds pretty damn good.

I wish I could remember my dreams more often. I wish the damn things wouldn’t go in one ear and straight out the other. Who plants them and why? And how come the few I recall are like tiny portions of an indie blockbuster, minus the credible acting and the killer plot twists. Sigh. Life is like a dream sometimes. And then you wake up. Now, c’mon, if you had the chance to lay a clever one liner on William Shatner, you would, right? Yeah. If you could look him in the eyes, gently brush his laser gun out of your face, and unleash that killer put down that you’ve had swirling around the deepest cavaties of your subconcious ever since episode six of the fourth series, you’d grab it with both hands and offer up a thanks to those strange looking alien creatures who rule our universe. Well, guess what? You can. And while you’re at it, why don’t you give Dustin Diamond an ear full, too. Ah, the joys of unrequited paybacks.
I have known Hayden for almost twenty years. He has always released quality music and that is why he can wait four years between releases and his fans are still there. His latest album — In Field & Town — went straight into heavy rotation in our home and I think will extend his fan base further than even he might like.
