As one of my favourite Australian artists, I have been following his work for some time. Queensland-based artist Simon DeGroot’s work is beautifully composed, colourful, playful, and a little bit street. So if you are lucky enough to be in Queensland next month, he is having a show titled Copy Repeat at Metro Arts Galleries on November 9.

Yep, that’s right, a book made literally with love. In March of this year, a callout was made Australia-wide to submit a visual response — in black and white — to a set of words.
