She may have only graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2010, but it’s easy to see why Yelena Bryksenkova is already working for big name clients such as Bust Magazine and Urban Outfitters.

She has mastered the art of painting beautiful pale girls lounging about (most likely on lazy, overcast Sundays). Each piece contains cozy details, such as the cable knit on a sweater. The girls she paints are varied, but all have a sense of whimsy, be they Alice (of Wonderland), a mermaid, or a Ziegfeld girl.
