I’ve just came back from a trip to Moscow and I was amazed by The Cosmonaut Museum. It was built in 1964 to commemorate the launch of Sputnik twenty years earlier and to celebrate the achievements of USSR.

The museum is housed on the base of a impressive Conquerors of Space monument, an enormous silver rocket soaring into the sky on a 100m stream of glistening Titanium. Here are some photos I took with my Lomo.
