Blood, salvaged from a slaughterhouse, is the primary mark making medium in my new solo exhibition, Hemoglyphs at Causey Contemporary. These new works are experiments driven by spirituality, corporeality, fantasy and chance and incorporate new methods of working and preserving the blood.

Here is a video showing the process, including blood soaked gauze, copper-blood mixtures and outdoor sun drying techniques with the blood and here is a short video tour of the exhibition to see the results of the process.
