Recycled skateboard benches
This is the kind of furniture I’d like to fill my house with. Not only is it original and innovative, skate decks have some some great design on them, too.

2xanadu: a new full service creative agency
I recently joined forces with 2xanadu. We are a full service creative agency and have just launched our new website. Some of our recent work includes an illustration for ESPN and the cover for Digital Arts Magazine. Also, if you’re into bikes and customisation like we are, then check out some of the photos of an event we held in London recently called Bespoke: Creative.

A great cause and some nice artwork to bid on. The 100 Project is a charitable initiative with the aim to nurture the creative talent of tomorrow by putting 100 young people from the East End of London through a term at The Prince’s Drawing School. [art above by Pete Fowler]

Funkrush: clothing that makes you smile
Small t-shirt label Funkrush has a big selection of products available, designed by some of the most well-known illustrators in the world. Have a good look, there’s something (or five things) there for everyone. I especially like the Blackrock Collective Card deck, as they put it ’54 little pieces of art’.

I stumbled upon this cool street style blog that shows original and edgy people on the streets of Helsinki. Punk, Goth, Harajuku, Pin-up or retro, the people featured here have a unique sense of style. Many of the clothes are modified or created by the owners to fit their personalities and each photo has its own description written by the person in the picture.
I stumbled across the Hello, Blue Roses track, My Shadow Falls, the other week and it set my ears alight, this subtle but beautiful song and its cascading melodic line which will at once ingrain yourself in your inner-ear iPod and then disappear out the other end, leaving only the sweetest of memories.
