Just over a year ago, I decided to draw one illustration a day and post it online for a year. I did it initially to practice and to develop. I completed the project last month and I’m really proud of myself for achieving what I had hoped. I feel like an illustrator now. It goes to show what can be done with a bit of focus and an Internet connection.

This exhibition was fantastic. I’m fortunate to live close by to the venue, and it’s fantastic to see such a personal artform from a local creative in a street-side exhibition.
But what’s interesting, is how real-world interactions and shows such as this can be brought to life by social media. It goes to show that artforms such as illustration won’t be killed off by the online world, but in fact, enhanced and driven by it all.
