Most people have heard of American chess master Bobby Fischer, but I doubt many know the story leading up to his 1972 world champion match against Boris Spassky and the bizarre life he led.

This documentary explores the tragic personal life of one of the greatest chess players of all time. From his childhood, becoming the United States champion at the age of 15, until his recent death as a fugitive in Iceland.
