Theo Prins
I find myself simultaneously fixated and terrified with human development and extinction. The way we are enveloping everything like ivy. There is also an incredible beauty in this, and artists that reflect this tend to pull me in like the proverbial maelstrom.
Very often this is also closely linked with architectural explorations and Theo Prins delves into all these elements. In spades. The paintings are great, but in my opinion, the two-tone drawings are gold.

Cover art for Something Wicked magazine
I recently completed yet another cover for Something Wicked magazine, a great little indie sci-fi and horror monthly. This time I got to indulge my inner geek somewhat with a space station, shuttle and messed-up planet Earth down below. Better than real work any day of the week.

The craziest looking wedding site you’ll ever see

Philly indie rock group Dr Dog recently compiled a crackling Secret Playlist for us which included props for songs by Cass McCombs, Thunderclap Newman, and the new time rag star, A.A Bundy, about whose track, Vice Rag, keyboardist Zach Miller wrote: ‘Good enough to be a classic old timey melody, except with more contemporary lyrical vices added. Great guitar playing’. And so it is [yup, the proof's in the audio below]. You can read more about Dr Dog’s favourite songs via the My Secret Playlist website.
