I’ve enjoyed Gris Grimly’s work for a while now. From children’s books poised on the edge of ‘acceptable’ to completely unacceptable yet embraceable adult work, Grimly has taken up the reigns of artists like Charles Bragg and Edward Gorey for new generations. His latest book, Artum Secretum, is a large sketchbook collection with a good look into his intelligent, twisted mind.
