The coolest damn business card ever? Yes! Unbeatable
The LEGO reinvention as a wonderful play thing of the hip and creative continues unabated with the news that those lucky souls who actually work at the company get to hand out these impossibly clever figurines as business cards with features that have been specially tailored to suit the card’s owner. Lust.

This is such a cool idea! These need to be mass produced and used for ever industry! It’s fun and original. Keep it coming!

Lovely lovely concept, would have loved to see some beautiful typography to make it perfect.

They really are very cool business cards. Years ago I came up wth the idea of personalizing LEGO bricks and back in 2004 actually engraved my name and email address to use as a Business Fig as I called them. I gave them out to AFOLs (adult fans of LEGO) and they got an enthusiastic reception, But problem is they are not cheap to make. I still do quite a few of them for special events where people want a really unique “card”. Because of trademark issues with TLG, however, cannot put a corporate logo on the fig (unless have permission from them or for LEGO fan events). For that reason I inviented the Fig-TEE which is a fig compatible shirt for a minifig onto which I can engrave or print whatever. So if you have your own minifig you can get a Tee Shirt for it. Never given one out that did not get a positive response.
Not sure whether they got the idea from me or came up with it independently, but have been doing them since 2004. I do quite a few of them for First LEGO League teams where each member gets his name and the team logo on a fig.
