Russian firm plans space hotel for 2016

As the average person become poorer, the world’s oligarchs are getting ever wealthier, which is why even in an unstable global economy, a Russian firm is plugging ahead with plans to build a space hotel.

The Commercial Space Station, set to open in 2016, is a small space station where visitors will pay £600,000 for a five day stay plus transport to and from via rocket. If I could get away from all the world’s problems, I’d could probably sleep pretty well at night, too.
