Remarkable iPhone photos of the Afghanistan war
If you want the truth, shoot it on an iPhone. Right? Right! Especially when that iPhone is in the hands of world-renowned photographer, Balazs Gardi, who took these photos for Foreign Policy Magazine while embedded in Helmand for five months from September 2010.

Tallest Man on Earth, the rasping Swedish folk singer-songwriter and one of the unsung heroes of 2008, recently recorded the beautiful song A Field of Birds, a nice adjunct to his summer album release, Shallow Grave.
