Sacred Ink: photos by Cedric Arnold

When I was in Thailand, I was impressed by the way spirituality is a part of the very fabric of everyday life there without being dogmatic or zealous – there are shrines everywhere, and people casually and non-chalantly stop to pray as they pass.

It seemed like a humble acknowledgement of something higher and greater than our own reality. Sacred Ink, a multimedia, online exhibition by photographer Cedric Arnold, shows the way in which some Thai people express an even deeper spirituality via intricate and extensive tattoos.
