Del Maguey: a 100 percent agave mezcal
Del Maguey is made in remote parts of Oaxaca, Mexico, and only in limited quantities. There are just a handful of villages that produce this 100 percent agave mezcal, and each is named after the village from which it comes. Del Maguey also happens to be the only mezcal that is certified organic. Find it, sip it.

Nice review. I think mezcal is the rising star among all spirits. I was yesterday at an amazing store called Astor Wines & Spirits in NYC and they had a huge mezcal selection. And adding to your comment on the certified organic, I found a new brand called Mezcales de Leyenda that are also certified organic. I bought a bottle of their Guerrero mezcal and it blew me away. I had a dinner party last night and all my friends loved it, many of them are very familiar with mezcal. They said this mezcal sells very good in Mexico City and were surprised it was now available in NY. I will keep encouraging all my buddies to drink more mezcal, because it deserves all of the cobsumers attention.
