Silent Barn is one of the best and most important DIY venues in NYC, as important to its home city as it is to all the underground bands and artists in the country who tour regularly. I had the honor of performing there with the Baltimore Annex Theater last year, and it was a blast. Recently, the space was broken into, burglarized, and severely vandalized.

Equipment, instruments, and personal items were stolen, and the space, including irreplaceable artwork, was trashed. The artists and musicians running the space, rather than calling it quits, have viewed this as an opportunity to make the space more legit and permanent, cementing its place as the institution that it is. Help them out by donating to their Kickstarter.
