Wow! Esther Verschoor creates extraordinary dolls from animal skulls bought from a legal taxidermist who guarantees that they are from animals who died of age, illness, or traffic accidents. Her work is dark, but hauntingly beautiful straddling that world between the mythical and the almost human.
