The World’s Largest Camera and Photograph
Sometimes bigger really is better, especially in the photography world. The Great Picture‘ shown above stands three stories high by eleven stories long. The canvas itself weighs more than half a tonne, making it the world’s largest photo captured by the world’s largest camera.
The Legacy Project snapped the panoramic still shot view of the San Joaquin Hills after exposing it to light for 35 minutes from a 6mm hole in an empty airplane hangar’s wall in Irvine, California. Catch it on display at the Culver Centre of the Arts until October 8.
