Charming Baker: a young artist they’re all fussing about

With a name of Charming Baker, it seem only fitting this Central Saint Martins Art grad’s has celebrities and fashion designers smitten.

Celebrities like Johnny Depp have snapped his artwork, which include animal oil paintings on canvases shot with an actual gun. Leading British designer Paul Smith has also named Charming the face of his A/W 11 collection, due to his ‘charismatic nature and good looks’. To check out whether his art is worth the fuss, visit his exhibition in Mercer Street Studios, London, this month.

Accompanying artist babble aside, the scarfs are pretty great. Read more

They’re touring with Kimya Dawson; have Karen O and Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs playing on their record and have already been remixed by Brazilian powerhouse, CSS. And that’s not all.
