Chairs made from 111 recycled coca-cola bottles
Same same, but different! In the 1940s, American manufacturing company Emeco brought the world a design legend in their virtually indestructible aluminum Navy chairs. While the originals were once just standard décor on US Naval destroyers and submarines, the new millennium incarnations are now in demand for furbishing more chic establishments on dry land.
The result of a collaborative project with Coca-cola, each chair is made from the plastic of 111 recycled coca-cola bottles. Check out which designers are saying what about the 111 Navy Chair on its Tumblr page.
