Big Dog: the world’s most advanced cybernetic machine

Boston Dynamics has developed a robotic dog that is considered the most advanced cybernetic machine in the world. Big Dog can walk, run and jump virtually on any surface — mud, ice, snow or rubble — carrying a load up to 340 lbs. It also set a world record for legged vehicles by traveling almost 13 miles without stopping or refueling. I wonder if man’s best friend can be programmed to bring you a six pack of Siberian-cold beer while you watch TV.
