		<description><![CDATA[Hi, I&#039;m a first year geology student.  First lab in mineralogy class we looked at samples of sand from around the world under a microscope.  Most of the sand in the world is made of quartz. It didn&#039;t look very interesting. It looks very much like the photographer just picked a bunch of fossils and pretty minerals out of sand and set them up to look nice.]]></description>
