When I got into comic books as a pubescent boy in the early ’90s, artists were rendering characters with really exaggerated bodies, and they looked as if they had been dipped into their costumes. I’m sure I’m not the sole 12-year-geek who salivated over Psylocke or Jean Grey as drawn by Jim Lee and Mark Silvestri. Mike DeBalfo, aka SquirrelShaver, specializes in the kind of sexy comic book art I’m talking about.
