Jop Van Bennekom

Jop Van Bennekom is my art direction super-hero. His ongoing collaboration with Turner prize-winning photographer Wolfgang Tillmans and advertising partnership with faltering mega-brand American Apparel are perfect enough to make any creative nought to jealous in 4.5 seconds.

I caught Austin band Watch Out For Rockets playing the other week at the Beauty Bar, a small smoky den on a bustling hipster strip.
