Porsche shot with 10,000 bullets to protect gun rights
After the owner decided not to sink $20,000 into repairing the engine of his Porsche 911, he donated it to pro-gun non-profit Commonwealth Second Ammendment, who proceeded to unload over 10,000 bullets into it to raise publicity for their cause.

Drawings of animals by Maria Elina
It’s funny that as alienated as we are from animals in this modern world, people still feel compelled to draw them as if it were one of our core instincts. Argentine artist Maria Elina does excellent drawings of anthropomorphized animals. Excellent, I say. Trust me, I look at the internet all day. Read more

Surreal sculptures by Ben Wheele
Honestly, writing about art (and music, for that matter) is kind of an awful task because good art speaks for itself. Such is the case with Ben Wheele’s surreal sculptures and videos. I haven’t been this excited by a band in a long time. Florida’s Black Kids have crept under — and now over — the radar through a demo and some serious internet buzz from NME and Pitchfork. Not only are they ridiculously good, they’ve also offered their four-song demo — Wizard of Ahhh’s — for free on their MySpace page. Sweet.

They are raising publicity for ‘pro-gun’ by destroying something with guns…
Have I read it wrong or is that just really dumb?
