Lisa Shipman is an New Zealand-born, English fine artist who creates oil and charcoal paintings and drawings. Surreal, cartoon inspired with a specialist painting technique, Shipman’s art has a slightly twisted but serious narrative vibe to it.

Her ‘god dog’ pieces are fabulous, fun, lighthearted and frivolous. After her recent series of poker games, poker stars and poker playing poodles, Shipman’s new work is continually pushing the boundaries of the fine arts.
