Some art, no matter what trends come and go, exists in its own time capsule, a boundless moment in space. Ellen Rogers’ photography reminds me of this. Her images reflect a striking allure and mystery, yet the scenes have almost a clichéd originality, like you’ve seen them a million times before. Yet, you have no idea where to actually find them.

Ok, ok, you can see she borrows parts of her style from colorized vintage photos and she uses all analogue equipment to acquire such an effect (no easy task), but yeah, this girl’s a got serious flair for making some stunning imagery.
