Flexible Love: a different kind of chair
A college student in Taiwan designed this amazing chair. It’s called Flexible Love. The chair can be turned into a sofa, a two or three seater, an s-shape. Basically, you can turn it into any seating device your imagination can come up with it seems. I have no clue how comfortable this piece of art is, but it’s surely fun to experiment with it.

Brilliant one line drawing series by Eemz
Eemz is an illustrator and mixed-media artist from Cairo. She has recently come up with a one line drawing series that I find quite adorable. Lots of her motifs look like minimalist doodling interpretations of characters from the Arabian Nights or the Pharaonic period. I would really love to see these turned into t shirt motifs or printed on postcards, so I can send them around to my friends. Read more

I think this is fabulous. I would have liked to see him sit on it, however, otherwise it’s still just bendy-art to me.
I think the bit that I love best is that when he is pushing it, it still sounds like any old furniture on any old floor.

First we had eagles throwing goats off of cliffs, now we have this beautiful flower surreptitiously giving us the finger. I’m all for praising Mother Nature and all that, but let’s face it, sometimes nature can be a bitch.

With Lungfish guitarist Asa Osborne’s latest project, Zomes, he continues to explore loops and cycles with endlessly repeating musical phrases, this time played on circuit-bent keyboards. The resulting tracks sound at times like medieval court music at others like the soundtrack to a Hal Hartley movie.

The newest giclee print from Rebel Unlit, Inquiry into Jellyfish, is an adventure in mixed media. We love the subtleties of this piece, which could be missed at first glance: the transparencies, the color distress, the foreground texture. We’re also a pretty big fan of that jellyfish. Inspired by Haruki Murakami’s The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, this limited-edition piece is printed on cotton matt archival 310gsm paper and is available now in the Lost At E Minor online store.

This chair is actually available to buy at made.com here – http://www.made.com/chairs/flexible-love-16-chair-earth-brown , at least in the UK that is.
Definitely an excellent concept and product, but in real life will the cardboard seating withstand the test of time? Guess we’ll have to wait and see once the chairs are produced and shipped out to buyers.
