Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York

The vast majority of everyday New Yorkers would turn a blind eye to Dylan’s Candy Bar as they walk along Fifth Avenue. For us foreigners, however, it’s a magical sugared retreat that would never be taken for granted.

Ralph Lauren’s daughter opened the store in a bid to create one of the coolest lolly shops in New York, stocking sought-after candy we grew up with. Think gummy worms, pixy sticks, cola bottles, and all that jazz. She now has three bars scattered around Manhattan.
