Brandon Boyd and Hurley go green to help H.O.P.E
Activist, artist, surfer and musician, Brandon Boyd, has joined forces with Hurley clothing to shed light on the North Pacific Gyre, a dire garbage patch nestled between Hawaii and California.
The Incubus frontman designed a series of t-shirts to sell in American stores and online, with proceeds benefitting H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Everywhere) and investing in oceanic research. He also painted a mammoth whale mural on the Hurley Headquarter walls in California, which you’re invited to check out this Saturday (April 2) from 6pm to 9pm at 1945-A Placentia Ave, Costa Mesa.
