Nick Zinner’s first-ever commercial assignment
To launch their rock’n’roll inspired Swagger and Jetts range, Lee Jeans enlisted the eye of Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist and art photographer, Nick Zinner.
In his first-ever commercial assignment, the three-time Grammy Nominated musician responded with images dripping with attitude and New York cool. Not overly surprising from the man whose pictures are loved by everyone from visionary director Spike Jonze to seminal music photographer Mick Rock.

Surfing at Rhossili Beach in Wales
Most don’t think of Wales as a surfing destination. In fact, most people don’t think of Wales at all. But the dramatic cliffs and breathtaking scenery that surround Rhossili Beach create a ‘surf sweet spot’, making this travel destination alluring to both surfers and nature-lovers alike. Read more

This Swedish folk-pop group has released an EP, This Must Be Blood, featuring Traktor [above], among other gems. They’ve been on the circuit since 2006, with their live performance being described on Last.fm as ‘an unleashed Tasmanian Devil singing heartbreaking gospelsongs’. Fun.

Don’t be afraid of the word retro. It has haunted us all from time to time, but one group that has embraced it with open arms is UK duo, La Roux. Their music is synth pop in the vein of Calvin Harris, Human League, The Eurythmics, and The Knife. There are quite a few of these young and ambitious pop starlets on the scene including Goldielocks. But La Roux takes the cake. Literally. I’m obsessed with their song In For the Kill and have a feeling summer will take it and make it a hit.
