Badass shoes made from recycled tires by Pskaufman
This crazy obsessive shoe designer in California recognizes there’s too many used tires in the world and maybe, by utilizing them for the soles of shoes, it might make a small difference both environmentally and stylistically. After all, how many of us will ever walk 30,000 miles in our lives?
Pskaufman is fond of making shoes the old-fashioned way, made to last, so you may as well expect to be buried in these things. What’s not to love about genuine Good Year welted, badass twisted classic shoes and boots made using nasty old used tires and inner tubes?

Traktor: new single from Swedish folk-pop group Francis
This Swedish folk-pop group has released an EP, This Must Be Blood, featuring Traktor [above], among other gems. They’ve been on the circuit since 2006, with their live performance being described on Last.fm as ‘an unleashed Tasmanian Devil singing heartbreaking gospelsongs’. Fun.

Lately, I’ve been swooning over the artwork of LA-based illustrator Eunice San Miguel. I especially love the way she manipulates traditional mediums in order to create a combination of surreal, and nostalgic imagery. So I can’t understand a word on this Japanese blog, and neither do I really want to. No, there’s something intrinsically calming about staring at cute photos of cute cats, even more so when they’re balancing things precariously on their heads. Read more
Recently formed hip-hop duo, Rootbeer (Pigeon John and Flynn Adam), have just dropped a super fresh piece of audio pie right in your kitchen. Influenced by artists such as MGMT, N.E.R.D and A Tribe Called Quest, Rootbeer offer up an edgy and unfeigned lyrical style. Turn up their debut release, The Pink Limousine EP, to eleven. You’ll find it impossible not to make shapes.
The scientists explored the surface of our moon until they stood facing the foreboding presence of The Lunar Crystal. The two men stood in awe of the crystal’s existence. They stared without tact; oblivious to the inquisitive voices on the other end of their earpieces.

wasn’t sure where to enter to win a pair of these bad ass boots. Have a new beau who rides a Harley and I think that wearing a pair would ROCK! Being the epitome of a starving artist, I prob would never be able to afford a pair … so here goes lady luck! Thanks!
