Brian Dettmer uses outdated books, dictionaries and encyclopedias and carves them into incredible sculpture artworks.
With the help of knives, tweezers and surgical tools, he produces some of the finest book sculptures I have seen in a while. Dettmer is originally from Chicago, where he studied at Columbia College. He currently lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia.

Beautiful! Does a good old book justice. If I was a book I’d donate my organs to this project.
