I’m a longtime fan myself and was inspired to do the project at a Cure concert back in 2011 at the Pantages Theater. As of now I have photographed over 20 fans and plan to keep shooting’. I bet Amanda from DuckTapeBandit would choose a huge stack of duct tape roles. Not only is duct tape useful, apparently, you can also make fashion, purses, necklaces, hair clips and flowers from it (to name just a few). Who would’ve thought that duct tape makes a great material for such an amazing collection of versatile art? Read more

I love Sam Weber’s illustration of Bjork. It captures the mischievous twinkle that seems omnipresent in her eyes whilst also presenting her in an environment which pays homage to her somewhat mystical musical approach. [more about Sam Weber]

All the trash of modern pop culture heaped in one place, Flash Glam Trash shows stuff like stills from long forgotten cult films, memes like people emulating the David Bowie lightening flash, Micky Mouse ears, or the documentary pictures of a man who photographs prostitutes. With Lungfish guitarist Asa Osborne’s latest project, Zomes, he continues to explore loops and cycles with endlessly repeating musical phrases, this time played on circuit-bent keyboards. The resulting tracks sound at times like medieval court music at others like the soundtrack to a Hal Hartley movie.
