New York car space being sold for 1 million dollars
Only in New York? We think so, though those in Tokyo may disagree. According to that reputable news source, the UK’s Daily Mail, a ‘developer of a luxury condo building in New York City’s Greenwich Village has listed a parking spot for $1 million’. That’s right. And the spot only holds one car, measuring in at an underwhelming 12 feet by 23 feet. So is it even semi-reasonable to ask this much? The New York Post thinks not. They’ve determined that ‘driver would have to rack up a $115 illegal parking ticket every day for 24 years before reaching the cost of this luxury garage’. Ah, the joys of deep pockets.

Hmmm, I don’t know if it’s the extra strong coffee I’m gulping down, or that faintest slither of feel good sunshine that’s creeping through the blinds, but this song is making me feel mildly euphoric, and that kinda works right now. Play it loud. Play it through headphones. And imagine you’re decked out in day glo polyester with a dramatic burst of velvet lining. Damn, my feet just can’t stop from dancin’.

When my uber-creative and slightly eccentric twin brother announced one day that chainmail would be making a return, it only confirmed that he’d missed out on the fashion genes. But after checking out the fingerless chainmail glove in Toby Jones’ new collection — My hands are tied — it now appears he had a legitimate vision. Working a look straight out of a Mad Max scene, Jones’ designs will have us accessorizing in true post-apocalyptic style, using everyday objects as adornment.
