the pigs are sedated first before tattooing them and there nerve endings are alot lower than humans so they do not feel any pain in the process
the pigs will get slaughtered in the end and the tattoos need time to grow with the pigs skin the same as they do with human skin
i don’t see a problem with his method of work as i like his art .

This is a very disturbing piece. I am so not okay with any animal being tattooed. It’s as bad as that guy who starved a dog in a gallery and called it art. Are they real pigs? Some answers please.

I’m also not ok with the Pigs being tattooed…. even if they’re temporary…. I think its cruel & inhumane….

this is actually disturbing. we all have a choice to have body art and therefore we choose to sit there for hours on end enduring the pain of tattooing – these pigs really have no choice and i doubt it hurts any less for them than it does for us.
i am surprised PETA hasnt made a hoo haa about this…!!

I agree with the above sentiments. I’m not an overt “animal-lover” but how much pain would these poor animals have been in!? A human can choose to get tattooed but these pigs don’t even have that choice, how inhumane!

holding an animal down by its ears and forcing it to get tattooed ALL OVER ITS BODY is vile and sadistic. it is surprising you’d feature something like this.
