This is not gross, have you ever worn wool? At least my dog is in the house and bathed regularly. The sheep have all sorts of things in their fur and they live outside. I love wool and I also love my dog, I can’t wait until I have enough to send it out and get spun! Chiengora has long been a choice to make clothing. It is 8 times warmer then wool and looks beautiful. Check this out!

My old dog used to shed like crazy (she was a Norwegian Elkhound, related to huskies). Every time we brushed her we wound up with ridiculous amounts of hair. We thought about making sweaters with it many times, and we really could have. I don’t see how this is grosser than making sweaters from the hair of any other animal.

I have 2 dogs and I sweep up an unbelievable wad of dog hair every other day, this idea has crossed my mind so many times. I can’t believe people have actually done it.
