Crazed text messages from panicked scorned girl

Ok, so this is a good reminder why one night stands don’t always pay off, especially when one half of the stand reads too much into the previous evening’s, erm, activities. Out of Australia comes this bizarre, one-sided text correspondence from a girl directed at the guy who bedded her, then discreetly sent her on her way. It’s painful to read, especially as the texts were all unleashed over a period of, wait for it, a day. Check out the full stream of messages at Buzzfeed.

Something about Argentine artist Marina De Caro’s multi-media work reminds me of avant-garde work from the freaky ’60s, but in a good way. Lots of crazy fabric and costume work, intensely colored installations relating to the body and nature, oversized sculptures, and collaborative street projects. Read more
