The Futureheads ask artists to respond to their music

The Futureheads have come up with a nifty way to celebrate their tenth birthday with a project that not only delivers some awesome affordable art, but it’s all for charity too. For the ‘FH10’ project, the band sent some of the UK’s most respected artists one of their four albums, asking them to respond to the music as if creating the cover for the first time.

Artists involved include David Shrigley, who came up with a very unique review of The Chaos in his style, whilst ‘monsterist’ Pete Fower put the band in a psychedelic space world for This Is Not The World. Legendary photographer, Mick Rock, has even backed the project, saying ‘you had better support The Futureheads or they’ll be f**king trouble alright’. Well, you know what they say, you don’t mess with Mick.
