Alain Delorme’s Totems photo series
Alain Delorme graduated from Gobelins in Paris with a degree in Photography. In this series, Totems, the composites are recreated on the basis of 6,000 images taken in Shanghai during two art residencies. The loads are exaggerated to emphasize the ‘totems’, which are highly symbolic of the Made in China consumer culture.

Amsterdam-based photographers Blommers and Niels Schumm both studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and started working together in 1998. Channeling Justin Timberlake and Alan Vega, or both or neither, Spanish Dancer is on his own axis, spinning to the BPM of a lost drum. At one point, between moving back and forth between Providence, Rhode Island and Miami, Florida, he discovered punk and his uncle bought him a ratty 50 dollar Cruise VMI guitar to mess around with. Subsequently, Spanish Dancer material is a little snarky, self-aware, and fun, while still retaining all the complex spastic freakout moments of his prior band, A Trillion Barnacle Lapse. His debut album, Burned Up, Bred High, is out now and we have the lead single, The Hustler [listen below], available for free download via the Music Download section of the Lost At E Minor site.

This time my problem was solved quickly as I discovered the perfect dress from A Name Is A Label. Their pieces have a sculptural appearance, constructed predominantly from second-hand clothing. The label is about ethical, new-century awareness.
