Marshmallows are typically consumed as treats or used to garnish hot chocolates, until Nathan Wratislaw decided to turn the sugared pleasures into breakfast cereal. I’m talking about crispy and crunchy marshmallow bites that are guaranteed to motivate early risers to get out of bed even earlier for their next sugar fix.

Ralph Bakshi was an animation icon in the 70s and 80s with his R-rated cartoons like Fritz the Cat and American Pop. These fashion items were designed by Jonathan Schlackman to celebrate the artist’s life and vision. Bakshi’s nephew is in charge of the project, which is currently still in process.

Brooklyn-based Polaroid artist Matt Schwartz, from She Hit Pause Studios, has been photographing his whimsical images of girls, surf culture and vintage finds for the past eight years. I feel like every kid has already done this. I can remember dumping out an entire box of lucky charms into a huge bowl then putting the marshmallows in a separate bowl to make “breakfast.” I don’t know that I would necessarily call this a new trends since kids have been doing it since the 60′s.
