Egzi Polat’s Close Beside photo series
The pure melancholy of winter for some is the time of real beauty; the snow envelopes everything, creating equal beauty of white wonders. This exact beauty seems to become the prominent play in Egzi Polat’s collection entitled Close Beside. The urban setting and the use of repeating color sets of vintage-aura and the occasional black and whites all contribute to the solemn art of silence.

My brother just got back from Tignes having done his second ski season. This isn’t a bad effort at transmitting just how much fun he and his friends have had for the last six months. The tricks that these amateur boarders pull are out of this world. Enjoy the soundtrack and watch fullscreen.

Yeah, sorry about that. A source stated her name as Egzi while another said Ezgi. I should’ve made sure (with her actual site having the proper spelling of the name), but I’ll make sure it doesn’t happen in the future haha. Her work is nonetheless beautiful.
