Interactive Salt and Pepper shakers
How often is it that you have to break something in order to make it work? Rarely, I hope. Unless, of course, it’s Studio Kahn’s new Salt and Pepper shakers. The two shakers are conjoined by their pouring ends, which one must effectively snap like a tree (with some ‘Hi-Yah!’) in order to make them function.
Studio Kahn has essentially found a way to channel energy into a one-of-a-kind positive experience. So go get yourself mad and then make something useful. Salt and Pepper has never been more fun.

These photographs are so good I bought the book. I discovered Merkley??? on Flickr. This bearded photographer is a slightly unnerving straight-talking San Franciscan whose images of friends (mainly wannabe models) push the boundaries of symmetry, skin tone, colour and pleasure to the very limits.

Cheese and Burger a great site to check out, with about 30 different burger options. Here you can find a selection of States with different burger recipes from each, along with a voiceover of a man who sounds like Mike Buffer. Fun.
Yellow Fever are a great duo from Austin that harkens back to the girl-fronted indie bands of the 90s. At times Breeders-ish, at others referencing garag-y sounds from other eras, their simple and heartfelt songs remind us of why we all thought mismatched Converse and unkempt androgyny was so cool in the first place.
Listen to the Yellow Fever song, Cats and Rats.
