My son inspires me everyday to be a better person. He brings out the best in me. Friends and family inspire me for different reasons, each one is unique. Seeing people that have been told they can’t achieve something and then they reach heir goal and more completely inspires me to do more for myself and for others. Everything is inspiring in it’s own way, it’s simply the way you look at it as to the effect it has on you.

what inspires me are people who think I can’t do as well as I can or think they can do better than what i can, and when i either achive my goal or do better than the other person i feel positive about myself and I am able to give them a “I told you so.” being inspired is about rising above the odds and stereotypes that people put on you.

What inspires me?……the skinhead on the bus that stood so I could sit down…the old lady in our street that confidently lives alone….the kid on our soccer team, who goes year after year without a scoring a goal…a kind word from a stranger when i really was feeling flat…..and my fourteen year old son heading out onto a cold October beach with a huge smile on his face and his surf life-savers cap tied proudly to his head…..inspiration is all around us…..but we have to ‘want’ …. ..to see.

The person that inspires me to be a better father, a better husband for my wife and a better person to everybody around me is my son. He is just 22 months old but I would do anything for him. I’m sad to leave him before I go to work but I look forward to seeing him again every moment of the day. His smile his laughter and my son just being himself inspires my life.
