Do It Yourself at New York’s Dash Gallery

DIY (Do It Yourself) is a group exhibition focusing on sculpture, print making, photography and installation based work. The exhibited work, including that of former Mass Appeal editor Cacy Forgenie (featured above), implies a performative element or an application associated with the artist’s physical involvement of art making: a handmade creation of an object; a fabricated scene; or a moment documented. It runs at New York’s Dash Gallery between September 23 and October 23.

We've assembled a group of talented young creatives and armed them each with a new Microsoft Surface Pro 4 or Microsoft Surface Book on which to create an original piece of art. The big reveal of these works will take place on December 10 at an immersive event at Sydney's aMBUSH Gallery. If you want to come along, let us know why here.
