The work of Linda Kim makes me think a lot about the motifs that seem to be seeping into every artist’s work these days — forests, mythological creatures, crystals, geometric patterns, and new age psychedelia.
Rather than feeling that the work is derivative, I think the repetition by so many different people adds weight and meaning to the symbols and forms, as if to unintentionally weave together a new collective, mythical narrative.

The way the crystals are painted look a lot like APAK … to me at least :3
