Yes, Paul McCartney wrote most eloquently of the Long and Winding Road, but even he would have amazed at the twisting, cavorting majesty of the roads revealed in these photos.

I love me a good road and these are pretty sweet! There’s one in particular in Northland in NZ that I love going over! They can be almost sculptural.
great pictures, now I want to jump in my car and speed down them (at the legal limit of course)

Dumb questions: who are the photographers? What are their websites? Why no attribution? Seriously?
If you don’t know, and you’ve just sourced them from somewhere, might be worthwhile doing some research into the origins – even naming the source would be a start.

Gorgeous Pics! Would love to know where these places are? Do you know where the photos were taken?

Pretty sure the photo of the road in the bamboo forrest was in a scene from memoirs of a geisha!

” the twisting, cavorting majesty” ??
Most of these roads look straight as a stick. Pretty photos, now do the right thing and give the web sites and photographers some credit. You wouldn’t like your original work stolen, eh?

Great series. If I had to guess, I would say that the second shot is from Highway 50, also known as the Lonely Highway.
