Polvo live in Brooklyn
by I grew up listening to Polvo, and I fondly recall driving around after high school punching the ceiling of my Jeep along to the sounds of their 1992′s Cor-Crane Secret album.
They recently opened for Le Savy Fav in Greenpoint as part of L Magazine’s, Northside Festival, and although I haven’t seen them play live in ten years, not much has changed. They played an awesome noise-rock show, with more than a few recognizable musos in the crowd, covering some songs from their newish album, In Prism, while also playing some oldies that stood the test of time. Upcoming August tour dates include Pittsburg (8/12), Toronto (8/13), and Montreal (8/14).
